From Atlantic Racing to Caribbean Classic: Entries Open for the 2027 RORC Transatlantic Race and Caribbean 600

Entries are officially open for two of offshore sailing’s most prestigious events, with the 2027 RORC Transatlantic Race and the 2027 RORC Caribbean 600 now accepting registrations. The Notice of Race is available for both contests, giving teams plenty of time to prepare for a thrilling winter of ocean racing.

The 13th edition of the RORC Transatlantic Race will see competitors tackle a 3000-nautical-mile crossing from Marina Lanzarote in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the West Indies. The starting gun fires on Sunday 10 January 2027, sending the fleet on one of the most demanding and rewarding passages in the sport.

Just weeks later, the 18th edition of the RORC Caribbean 600 gets underway on 22 February 2027. Starting and finishing at Fort Charlotte, Antigua, the race follows a spectacular course that weaves around 11 Caribbean Islands, offering a unique blend of tactical coastal sailing and open-water racing.

The RORC welcomes entries and expressions of interest across a wide range of divisions. Classes racing under IRC and Multihulls racing under the MOCRA Rule are all catered for, including IRC Two-Handed, Classics, Superyacht, and Class40. Whether you campaign a seasoned offshore racer or a grand prix multihull, there is a place in the fleet for you.

Full details including online entry and race documents can be found at the official race headquarters website.
