Miguel Graca and Teresa Ramos Claim Victory at Portuguese Master Nationals in Alfeite

The Portuguese Master Nationals, held as the Troféu António Conde Martins/Fernando Lima Bello, concluded in Alfeite, Portugal on October 11, 2026, with Miguel Graca and Teresa Ramos sailing to an impressive victory after four hard-fought races.

Graca and Ramos topped the fleet with a dominant total of just 4 points, edging out Antonio Viegas and Ana Leticia Ferreira who finished on 5 points in second place. The slim one-point margin between first and second made for a tense series from start to finish on the waters off Alfeite.

Jose Pedro Dias Pinheiro and Leonor Vasconcelos secured third place with 9 points, while Manuel Stichini Vilela and Francisca Salazar Martins finished fourth on 12 points. Rounding out the top five were Marco Fonseca and Cristina Domingos, who accumulated 14 points across the four-race series.

The regatta brought together some of Portugal’s most experienced Snipe sailors for this prestigious masters-level event. The Troféu António Conde Martins/Fernando Lima Bello carries significant tradition within the Portuguese sailing community, honoring two figures who contributed to the development of the class in the country.

With consistently low scores across the series, Graca and Ramos demonstrated the kind of tactical precision and boat handling that defines competitive Snipe sailing at the masters level. Their performance at Alfeite reaffirms their standing as one of the top teams on the Portuguese Snipe circuit heading into the remainder of the 2026 season.
