Miami Snipe Winter Circuit: Seven Days of World-Class Racing on Biscayne Bay

The Miami Snipe Winter Circuit promises an unmissable stretch of competitive sailing for Snipe class enthusiasts, with three back-to-back regattas spread across seven action-packed days on the water. If you race Snipes or follow the class closely, this is the marquee winter event to have on your calendar.

The circuit kicks off with the Open Orange Bowl, running directly into the Miami Snipe Invite, which features both an Under-30 division and the fiercely competitive open fleet racing the class is known for. From there, sailors roll straight into three marquee events: the Rasco Regatta, Midwinters, and the legendary DonQ — all sailed in the reliably superb conditions that make Miami a winter training and racing mecca.

This season’s DonQ carries extra significance. The regatta will serve as a country qualifier for the Pan American Games, with three coveted spots up for grabs. Sailors eyeing a Pan Am berth will want to bring their sharpest form to the starting line.

Immediately following DonQ, the Snipe Pan American Trials Athlete Qualifier will be hosted by Key Biscayne Yacht Club, giving competitors one more high-stakes opportunity to secure their place on the international stage.

With incredible racing conditions, elite-level competition, and Pan American Games qualification on the line, this year’s Miami Snipe Winter Circuit shapes up to be one for the history books. Don’t miss it.
