Dartmouth sailing wrapped up a busy second fall weekend with notable results at both the Singlehanded New England Championship and the Barnett Trophy regatta. Kulynych-Irvin placed third in the singlehanded championship, while the team secured third and fourth-place finishes at the Barnett Trophy across multiple divisions.
In the Barnett Trophy, Dartmouth fielded competitive squads across all three divisions. A Division delivered the program’s strongest divisional result of the regatta, with skipper Olivia Drulard teaming up with crew Kathryn McGranahan ’29 to finish fifth with 52 points.
The B Division saw skipper Turner Ryon sailing alongside crew Sage Sakowicz ’30. The pair turned in a solid mid-pack result, finishing eighth with 65 points in a tightly grouped division where margins were razor-thin throughout the day.
Cooper Keeves and crew Lucia Duffy represented Dartmouth in C Division, finishing ninth with 69 points. The division proved to be the most fiercely contested of the day, with just four points separating eighth place from twelfth — a testament to the depth of talent on the racecourse.
The weekend highlighted the depth of Dartmouth’s roster as the fall season gains momentum. With strong performances from both skippers and crews across the board, the Big Green are building valuable experience heading into the heart of the collegiate sailing calendar.
