The 29er EuroCup 2026 series heads to the Adriatic coast for its third event, with JK Jadro Koper set to host four days of competitive racing from 19 to 22 March 2026 in the Bay of Koper, Slovenia.
Teams from across Europe will converge on this scenic Slovenian venue for what promises to be a thrilling chapter in the EuroCup season. Should registration exceed 40 teams, organizers plan to divide the fleet into two groups to ensure fair and manageable racing.
Competitors arriving at the venue should approach via Kopalisko nabrezje street. Parking arrangements have been carefully organized: team vehicles can use the Cruiser Terminal Regatta Parking, while public parking is available at PH Belvedere, which has a height limit of 2.10 meters. Road trailers should be stored empty at the designated area known as Zu sterna makadam. Organizers strongly recommend that teams bring a hitch or wheel lock to secure their trailers while on site.
Two slips are available for launching, with Slip 2 serving as a beach start option. All coach boats and RIBs must be registered online prior to arrival and then confirmed in person at the Regatta Office. The main launching ramp is located at Slip 1, while fuel is available at the MOL petrol station at Marina Koper. Reserved RIB moorings can be arranged at the marina for support vessels.
Dinghies should be stored in the club yard and the adjacent beach area. For safety purposes, glass and crockery are strictly prohibited in the dinghy park and balcony zones.
The Regatta Office is situated on the first floor of the club building, with jury rooms located in the same area. All official event documents will be published online through the Racing Rules of Sailing website. A dedicated WhatsApp group is also available for competitors and coaches to stay connected throughout the event.
